You can get NHS treatment at Pickering Dental Care if you have the following medical conditions.
- Expecting a baby
- Have had a baby within the last 12 months
You can get NHS treatment at Pickering Dental Care if you are in receipt of the following Benefits.
- Income Support
- Income-based Job Seekers Allowance
- Pension Credit (Guarantee credit)
- Income-related Employment Support Allowance
We are unable to accept Personal Independence Payment (PIP) patients on the NHS. Patients in receipt of PIP should apply using one of our standard dental plans.
If you need to cancel your dental appointment please do one of the following,
- Cancel using the Patient Portal, this service is available 24/7 and is quick and easy.
- Telephone us on 01383 416785. If out of business hours, leave us a message, clearly stating your name, date, and time of the appointment.

At Pickering Dental Care we understand that unexpected circumstances may arise, causing you to miss a scheduled appointment. However, missed appointments can disrupt our scheduling and prevent us from accommodating other patients in need of dental care.
We kindly request that you provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Failure to do so may result in a missed appointment fee being charged.
Your cooperation in honoring scheduled appointments and providing timely notice of any changes is greatly appreciated as it allows us to maintain an efficient schedule for the benefit of all our valued patients.

A completed Request for Assistant form, together with any necessary supporting documentation, should be submitted to the assistance team as soon as possible.
